We’ll be the first to admit the elephant in the room. If you’re new to CrossFit, walking through the door of Marble Strength can be very intimidating. You don’t know what to expect. You don’t know if it’s right choice for you, but you know you’re tired of jumping around from gym to gym and growing bored of the same workout routine.

You’ve heard of CrossFit on the Internet, but it honestly the routines look reckless, difficult, and complicated. You even know some people who do it, but after seeing them post about it on social media, you always think to yourself, I will never do that!

Here are a few things you need to know about CrossFit to help ease your mind and maybe even convince you to step inside our gym.

We are here to educate.

 

CrossFit’s goal is to educate and facilitate a safe work area for people from all walks of life. At CFDA, we aim to help our customers achieve better health and wellness techniques and routines.

So when you see outrageous workouts online performed by some of the top athletes in the world, understand that no coach will ever instruct you do any of those workouts if you are not ready.

We pride ourselves on safe and effective training methods, which means every workout is universally scalable. In other words, anyone can do it–yes, even you.

 

We strive towards safe and effective programming.

 

It’s hard to find what the right workout program for you. At CFDA, we provide the program that is not just simple to follow, but also provides a fun and social atmosphere where we focus on the three factors of health: training, nutrition and lifestyle.

You won’t have to think, What am I going to do today? How long will I be at the gym?

We take care of all of that for you. In only a single hour, you will have finished a great work-out jam packed with a warm-up, strength routine, and even conditioning exercise.

 

We don’t judge

 

There is no judgement here at CFDA. That’s not the kind of atmosphere we foster. Being intimidated to grab a barbell can stifle your progress in the gym.

Instead, we want to help you grow. We will teach you how to move your body and how to move with a barbell.

At CFDA, you go at your pace and progress through your own level of fitness. We understand that everybody has to start somewhere. Additionally, we make sure to dedicate time during each class to ensure everyone is moving properly and understands the exercises.

We’re all in this together. The best thing about CrossFit is working out with people you trust and enjoy being around. We are all here to motivate one another and help each other get through those tough reps.

When you are surrounded by like-minded and motivated people pursuing the same goal as you, it motivates you to go a little bit harder and a faster. We hold each other accountable to do the work because we’re all in the same community.
