We have made it to Week 1 of the 2020 Holiday Wars! Prepare for 5 brutal weeks of competition! I hope you are all ready to embark on a fitness journey you have never seen before. (or at least have a little fun and a little competition)
Week 1 begins, Monday November 2nd.
The first workout is:
Complete as many reps as possible in 12 Minutes of the following:
12 Calories on the Assault Bike
12 Burpee Box Jump Overs. (Box Facing)
Preparation for the event:
Prior to the start of the event, the Assault Bike and Box shall be set 12 feet apart. At the start of competition ALL athletes will start behind the assault bike with no contact between athlete and bike. At the start of the 3…2…1… call the athlete will get on the bike and begin there workout. Once the athlete reaches 12 calories they may head over to the box and begin their Box Facing Burpees. Lateral burpees are not allowed.
Rx athletes must jump on the box, leaving the ground 2 feet at a time and safely dismount on the opposite side. The sequential burpees must be facing the box in order for the rep to be counted.
Both Scaled and Masters Athletes may Step onto the box for their workout. The Rep is not completed until the athlete has made it to the other side of the box.
Box Heights are 24 inches for Men and 20 inches for Ladies.
